and to mobilize board members to effectively influence those outside the schools who also share responsibility for education of our children.

2012 LEGISLATIVE BREAKFASTS

CNYSBA Districts to Senators, Assembly Members: “We Need Results’’
$250 (m) million in Budget Must Go Directly to Schools, Not Governor’s Vague Grants Program

More than 300 Board of Education members, school district leaders, students, business people and other interested community stakeholders – all concerned about the future of public education and eager for conversation with their lawmakers -- gathered at Cincinnatus High School February 4 and C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville February 11 for the annual Legislative Breakfasts sponsored by the Central New York School Boards Association.

This advocacy tool was put together by Tully Superintendent Kraig D. Pritts and Business Administrator Tiffany Nesbitt as part of the Tully Board of Education's ongoing community communication process. It highlights the shortfalls, tough choices and unanswered questions the district faces in putting together a budget for 2012-13 Click here to view the Power Point presentation.
